About
Built inside a tax firm.
Operated by security people.
DGMTech is what happens when a tax firm gets tired of its server and the founder also happens to run a cybersecurity company.

How DGMTech came to be
A short story, because it explains everything about how we work.
- 1
A tax firm with a server problem
DGMNow, a tax and accounting firm serving the Latino community in Orlando, ran Drake Tax on a local server. It worked, until preparers needed to work from home and the season did not wait.
- 2
Drake Online was not the answer
The web version is a different product with a different price per return. The firm wanted the Drake it knew, just without the server.
- 3
Drake moved to a secure cloud
Drake Tax was installed on cloud desktops, files moved to shared client folders, the office moved to chat and calls, and NeoDefender secured it all. The server was retired.
- 4
Other firms asked for the same
Colleagues in the community wanted it too. DGMTech packages that exact setup, with the operation and the support, for any tax firm.
Three names, one team
Each one does what it is best at.
The tax and accounting firm where the solution was born and runs every day. It keeps DGMTech honest: every change is tested on real returns first.
Cybersecurity company and Microsoft Solutions Partner in Orlando. It designs, secures and operates the cloud environment behind every DGMTech client.
The product: Drake Tax and the complete office in the cloud, packaged for tax firms, with support in English and Spanish.
Talk to the people who built it
You will talk to someone who prepares returns in Drake and someone who secures businesses for a living. Usually the same call.
